At Best Kind Outdoor Connections , our heart and soul is in the hands of our local captain — born and raised in Triton, Newfoundland, with salt in his veins and a lifetime of ocean stories in his back pocket.
Growing up on the North Atlantic coast, our captain developed a deep love for nature from an early age — fishing off the wharf with his grandfather, exploring hidden coves, and learning the rhythms of the sea from the people who know it best. That love turned into a lifelong passion, not just for the water, but for sharing the wonder of the outdoors with others.
Known for his friendly nature and legendary sense of humor, he's as much an entertainer as he is a guide. Whether it's telling a good yarn about "the one that got away" or pointing out a bald eagle's nest tucked in the trees, he makes every tour personal, welcoming, and unforgettable.
